The content of this site — including the HES framework, the element passports, definitions, texts, and design — is protected by copyright. © 2026 hestable.com. All rights reserved, with the following permissions. Citation and quotation: you may quote passages with attribution, using the citation formats provided on each passport page. Academic and educational use: you may reference and discuss the framework in research, teaching, and scholarly writing with attribution. Permission required: republishing substantial portions of the catalogue, creating derivative databases or products from it, or any commercial use of the content requires our prior written permission — write to research@hestable.com.

Accuracy and versioning

The framework is a living, versioned resource: content may be revised as evidence accumulates, and revisions are recorded in the changelog. We work carefully but provide the site "as is", without warranties of completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
