Six cross-layer chains designed · pre-registration in preparation

HES is evidence-aligned, not evidence-complete — and the difference is tested, not asserted. The first wave of validation is a six-chain program: each chain is a hypothesized sequence across layers (a Core capacity → a Derived skill → a Quantum threshold → an Emotional pattern), and each link is a falsifiable prediction. Where the predicted correlations hold, the layer structure gains evidence; where they fail, the framework learns exactly where its architecture needs revision.
The study protocols are being prepared for pre-registration on OSF. Data collection follows pre-registration — never the other way around. This page will list each study with its OSF link and live status as the program moves.

| MML-1 | Established | High reliability (α ≥ .80 or equivalent), convergent and discriminant validity, independent validation, normative data. |
| MML-2 | Adequate | Acceptable reliability (α ≥ .70), partial validity evidence. |
| MML-3 | Emerging | Instrument exists, but limited evidence — low reliability, low usage, or weak validity. |
| MML-4 | Pre-measurement | Construct present in the literature, but no dedicated instrument. |
| MML-5 | Novel | No presence in peer-reviewed literature under the same or a functionally equivalent term. |
